Meridiana Wine Estate was founded in 1987 by Mark Miceli Farrugia. It had since become one of the leading wine makers in the Maltese Island, solely pressing grapes from its own Vineyard at Ta'Qali l/o Mosta. Meridiana's wine portfolio includes ten labels and produces around 140,000 litres of wine annually. The estate consists of 19 hectares (47 acres) and includes a winery, cellars, offices and a retail outlet.
